Yeah, they are. It's basically the same as having a roll of tape, it's just that this is the same kind of vinyl you'd use on the hood or roof.

Since I'm going to try and do the roof and trunk myself - I think I might be crazy - I ordered their installation kit that includes a real heat gun. So that'll help. And thanks, I'll keep the "no stretching" very much in mind. I'm guessing it distorts the look of the vinyl?

Installed a GPS trim kit. Instead of a gps I mounted a guage called UltraGuage.

Drove thru a major dust storm here in the pan-handle of Texas driving to Lubbock. My car is coated with red dust and I opened the hood and my clean detailed engine compartment is fucking shot. It was perfect before I left this morning. Why Why Why.

    Will do!
If you strecth it too much it can shrink with temp changes and then leave the area under it exposed. Good luck and just take your time and all will be fine.

Darn good point. Any tips, by the way, for getting around the antenna? For the roof I'd planned to do the "hinge" method: put the piece of vinyl down with backing still on, stretch a piece of masking tape across to hold it down across the middle, then do it in halves. To get around the antenna, since I have no pattern for it, I was going to lay the vinyl on top of it, cut some slits to allow it to fit over, stretch and fit it just a bit after peeling the backing, then cut around the base to remove the excess vinyl.
