Oil change and finally changed my heater hoses. I have been running a bypass loop for months. I found motivation today because 2 days in the 80's. I need A/C :-)

Yeah sorry haven't been on. My computer shit the bed. Fkg shit luck I have.
I have the first generation VCM. There is a metal ring for the inside that holds the filter in. Where it is damaged or should I say where it was damaged there's a boot and ring clamp that goes over it. I plastic welded it and heat bent the opening back. Came out pretty good considering I never did this before. Drove it for a 300 mile trip and no codes. Since I only have my cell and Tapatalk ..Tapatalk will not allow to post pics.

Well, not done TO the G8 but FOR the G8. Looking into a BendPak 4 post hoist. It's 4500 installed then a little electrical work which I can't see being more than a few hundred bucks. It's going to be so nice not to have to do everything on the ground and on jack stands. I have AC and heat already so this should finish it all off nicely.

I ordered up a full height flush mount scissor lift. I pick it up next Tuesday. No more transmission pulls from jack stands.
