I think it's a million and a half gallons. I was visiting on CVN-73 after a overhaul and the tanks were empty so they filled her up, took like all morning. I was told it was 1.5 million gals. Probably a 100,000 gals is just to top off the tanks (lol).
Btw - it was the Big Horn out off Norfolk back in 09. Any connection?
