Thread: Well I just got a New Job and Career this afternoon

    Congrats on the new job/career. I always think about switching things up. I enjoy my job but driving gets old sometimes.

    Congrats. Seems like a field that always is hiring so it should work out good for you.

    Yes the whole recruting process has gone great and it is almost all sealed, they have said they want me at the home office in February

    Yeah, just a little. Now manage a small fleet of pickups/trailers that make our combo over 10,001 lbs., so we need to maintain logs, DOT registration, etc. Fun stuff. Be safe out there!

    I went through this shit myself..My last company I was laid off and left like garbage on the side of the road after 10 years of service. Age discrimination basically. I was laid off for 28 months only working a part time job and maintaining my car detailing business on the side to survive. I applied for hundreds of jobs and I was basically over qualified or under qualified.

    Ill be 49 this year and had to take a job at a Honda dealership as Prep dept manager for about a 1/3 of what I was making and i have 6 guys ..only 1 of them with a brain and common sense.

    I just acquired two new recruiters and hoping they can find me something that pays the bills with decent healthcare.

    Dealerships are cheap with lousy health
