    Default tire bulge....

My G8 came with Hercules Raptis R-T5 245/40ZR19 tires. Some people hasnt ever heard of these tires. but anyway when i was replacing the front rotors i noticed the drivers side front has a bulge on the sidewall. Not knowing how old these tires are, they are not brand new but they also have plenty of tread where they dont need replaced. So i thought about getting a good used tire of the same brand so it matches and just replace the detect tire. Problem is that this tire is hard to come by. The only place i can find one is on ebay. A new one $143. only used one i can find is a 245/45-19 which would be 1" taller. The other plan is to buy 2 new wide tires of a different brand (265/35-19 or 255/40-19) and stick on the rear and replace the bulged tire with the back. thoughts?

Date codes are stamped on the tires. Replace the one tire with the same make and size.
    Rest in Peace Charlie!

Hercules emailed me and said they would replace that tire. We’ll see how that goes
