    Default Brembo Caliper color

    Hello all,
Opportunity knocked, and I picked up a set of front Brembo's (CTS silver calipers, w/V logo) pretty reasonably. They are all new parts, and I am considering a color change on the caliper before I do the install. Longer wheel studs in hand, waiting for spacers to arrive. My car is Maverick Silver, and badge-less save for GM chicklets on the doors. The stock V caliper color will blend in with the 19" Sport wheel and body color, and some contrast may be in order.

Colors on the list are red, "Brembo" gold, and possibly yellow. I have found brembo caliper decals, but thought HSV decals might be even better (also available).

    Thoughts?
    Thanks!

Personally, I'd leave them silver. If you must change to one of your options, I'd say yellow, but with Brembo decals. The whole Holden lion and HSV stuff is so overdone on these cars.

I vote yellow for silver car. Let us know what spacers you get.

The jury is in. Since my car is debadged, and therefore a "sleeper" (ok, not to you guys with Maggies and LSA's and turbo's), I have opted to go in the direction described by tchr49. Silver (stock caliper color), with red logo. Another consideration is the rear brakes will be stock for the time being, so the silver will match.
    Thanks for the input!

Yeah I'd say silver or black... That way when they get dirty between cleaning, they only just change to a shade of gray. Not true with yellow, red, etc
