Default Looking to Buy - 2009 GT 9,500 miles

Not sure if this is in the correct spot, if not forgive me!

Looking at buying an 09 GT with 9500 miles. Has Kooks LTH with SLP axle-back exhaust, Roto-Fab intake, and dyno tuned with mods at 387 RWHP (mustang dyno).

Owner is a car guy looking to offload toys. Carfax shows multiple maintenance records and is clean.

Was told $24k cash buys. What are your opinions on the deal?

If you HAVE to have low miles you're gonna pay to play... I don't think it's terrible, but it sure ain't cheap.

Shit if I were to unload my G8 tomorrow with 33k on it I would want close to that ..so IMO you want a low mile clean G8 with an intake, full exhaust and tune? ..Your going to pay for it.

    I appreciate the input.

Wasn't originally shopping for something with such low miles, but I'm military and in a remote area, so the options are limited. This one was more than I intended on paying but it seemed like with the mods and miles it would be a good deal if I could get the price low enough.

If he's flexible, go for it. If not, and you don't care about low miles, it seems like there are about a million G8s in the 17-19k range with 70-90k miles. I can appreciate you being somewhat remote, however.

He's hard on the $24k. Gotta make a decision or not I guess on that. Thanks for the input from everyone.

I understand .. I would be hesitant myself .. I know it seems steep for an 8 year old car but its practically brand new ..already has an intake and exhaust. Its hard to find a virgin low mile G8 ..Especially The Last of The Brand.

Good luck on what you decide on.
