    Default Catalytic converter causing check engine light

    So my v6 G8 only has 55k miles on it, and I was try to get it inspected but they shop says my catalytic converter on the left side is bad. They explained it will be $1100 to fix with parts and labor. This seems a bit high in price in my opinion. Has anyone else had this problem?

    Yup found some here in Houston selling, they are for the GXP but will cut and weld if i need to. Will still be cheaper than the shop.
