    Default 6L90E from a 2011 SS Camaro?

I can pick up a used one with 39K miles on it for 1300 in a local junkyard.

What other part numbers/parts do I need?

I know I need a one piece driveshaft from the driveshaft shop in Texas. Is there a part number to ask for and what is the cost?

I think the only other part would be a transmission crossmember? What is the part number, cost, and where do I get it from?

    Anything else?

6l90 only came behind the LSA in cars... so 09+ CTS-V's and '12+ ZL1's... if it's in an '11 SS, it is a 6l80 and pricey at $1300. The 6l90 also came in truck/van platforms but have a different tailshaft for either the 4wd t-case or a slip yoke for the 2wd.

Appreciate that. I may just go with a re-manufactured one from Pace.

Let us know who you go with, i'm suppressed at the lack of aftermarket transmission options for 6l80

pace, Circle D are the only ones i know of, none of the big name 4l60 builders touch them

There are a bunch more 6L80 and 6L90 options for us.... I personally would call Ace performance or Tim King.... both are excellent and build them to last.... with alot of power...
