Default Launching with my 4000 converter

Would it be better to bring the RPMs up as high as I can or keep the RPMs around idle - 1500 to allow it to flash more? I wasnt sure if there was some research that showed what would be better or if I just have to test it all out. I tried from 1200-2000 last night with DA of 2500 and 70% humidity, shitty day to race, and I got 1.56-1.57. Do you think I would have better results bringing up the rpms more if the tires could hold?

    Thanks
    Jon

Also since you send your tune out to a third party and you have a triple disc converter still make sure it is not locked in 1st and 2nd. If locked I can see that slowing down your 60 foot times. But just off idle has worked best for me to get high 1.4s. It was just probably a bad day. DA in my experience has played a huge role in 60 foot times. When I use the Tucson track with DAS from 4-7K my 60 foot times are in the mid 1.5s. When I go to Chandler and use WHP dragstrip with DAS from 1-4K I can get a high 1.4. If I were at sea level who knows. Good luck!

Ya I live near New Era, so I just drive it to them or we go to the track together. It doesnt lock until 3rd gear. DA def effected it last night. I wasnt looking for personal bests or anything. Just testing out different things. The lowest RPM i tried was 1500, so next time I can try idle, which is 1000 or so, and 1200

I launched Brett's G8 with the 4000 and 3.27's at 2300-2500rpm and cut a 1.48 60ft. See what works with your tune....If I launched lower it would spin so he is working on suspension upgrades.
