Caprice PPV radio with ipod and nav in G8 ?

Ppv units do not come with Bluetooth, sat nav, cd ripping features. They are a very cut down omega iq unit.

You will also need a couple of other trim bits not mentioned here.

Wiring is also different, and if you do not have dz hvac you will need to convert that as well

From what I can find GM will not sell the radio or faceplate. They are marked "Crash, Fire, Theft" only. They can not be ordered from GM and need to be purchased from an outside vendor which is a real PITA w/o a core.

I suggest watching Ebay.au or the US for the radio units. The ones from OZ seem to be running about $850.00 plus about $150.00 shipping to CP and another $150.00 to the US

Chris claims he is finished with testing PPV radio and says everything is working. Chris suggests to start looking at junk yards for the radios. Greg can you give us breakedown of all nessary arts for conversion .

Here are the parts I know about
Center speaker grill
Right chrome center vent
Left chrome center vent
Vent duct
Upper center stack
lower center stack
Left center trim
right center trim
Radio Bracket
radio cage

I'm not sure the center console parts are needed unless you wanted to match the radio finish.
