    Default Buyer Beware - bp3968 on ebay - Chrome Oil Cap

    Hey,

    I just wanted to let everyone know to NOT buy from 'bp3968' or 'autodinamics' on ebay. His 'PONTIAC G8 GT GXP V8 MOBIL 1 ENGINE CHROME OIL CAP' does not fit. The groove on the cap isn't big enough to get over the stopper in the filler tube.

    Not only is that a problem, but he will not take it back as a return because I put the sticker that comes with the cap on the cap itself before installing it.

    This is very shady business practice, as I bet 90% of the people put the sticker on before they put it on the car, it's just easier that way.

    Just wanna try to save a few people a few bucks.

    2009.5 MSM GXP 500ish N/A RWHP. Mods include but aren't limited to: Texas Speed 418 (6.8L) fully forged held together with ARP from top to bottom, PRC 255cc heads, Rick Crawford intake plenum, TB port, polish and tune, Roto-Fab 102mm CAI w/LS7 MAF, Kooks 1-7/8" headers wrapped with DEI, Corsa catless system, Circle D 3200 Stall, 3.45 final drive, BMR's complete street bushing kit and sway bars, Eibach Pro Kit, G-Force Axles, running on staggered VMR 710's with Bridgestone RE11 rubber. HSV triple gauge pack with Calais smokers kit mod, V6 tails, debadge/rebadge, V6 door handles, AU black door trim, Maverick Man under hood strut covers, & washer and bolt kit, fully corrected paint thanks to Adams Polishes and my hard work. Built with reliability in mind with some power for those times when you need to pass or go over a big hill. Just a poser, not a racer!

    I had to put oil on the seal to make it work easier. I don't know if that was the seller I got mine from but ebay has it's risks....Good luck

    I initally left him positive feedback, as the item looked good. I learned my lesson now to not leave feedback until I try the product out too.

    I revised the feedback to let people know that he sucks.

    The thing that really makes me mad as that he doesn't stand behind his product. He has good feedback too, which pisses me off.

    I don't usually get too mad, but this really bothers me....lol, which is sad over a product that costs under $25 shipped.

    Some people are jag offs... I would turn him into eBay for selling something for a specific application that DOES NOT work.

    You CAN get your money back.

    I bought mine on ebay that had the LS3 sticker and started to put it on but wanted to have it facing forward than to the side, that made me install it first so i could clock the sticker first. Mine was also stiff going on had to oil it first and is always stiff coming off the first time. Hope you can get your $ back, good luck. Cheap ass should refund you!

    Yeah, I have a claim open right now with him. He still won't refund me since I put the sticker on it.

    He said he is going to win the claim no matter what, reason being that he'll refuse the package that I sent back to him.

    This guy needs to learn some customer service skills.
