I believe everyone on my list was contacted. Not everyone came through which is ok. I spoke with a few guys on the phone and I owe them more data. If i failed to contact someone, or someone is still interested, I will still honor the original discount. All sales are going through my website now so just PM me for a promo code. Again, I apologize if I missed anyone.

I know it's a lot of money to pony up for a performance part. I do appreciate those who took a chance with my product. The feedback is coming in and I hope those on the fence will read other user's experiences and go with a Frostbite chiller.

I do believe we have a far superior product in price, design, quality, and lead time. I have invested in inventory to be able to quickly ship to my customers. It's a slow start for sure but I'm continuing to grow the product line.

I have been busy as of late but I finally had some time to work on my own car...

    20171005_202610.jpg

I have been focusing on the pump/tank/line configuration as well as the insulation. I built off of Curt's idea for the crash beam tank. I was able to roll it to give it the slight curve of the factory crash beam. I also added some studs to be able to mount the washer fluid tank. To keep it from trapping air in the tank, I added a top port with a line that goes to an expansion tank. The expansion tank has a 10lb cap and the overflow T's into the factory radiator overflow tank. The tank was painted with a ceramic coating to keep the heat out.

Fall has finally come to the Ohio Valley and with it brings the cooler weather. All of my previous testing was done in >85ºF and the humidity to go with it. Results were very favorable and I have had great feedback so far regarding performance. Just this week, a front came through and ambient temperatures dropped into the low 50's.

    The results are very pleasing.

    YES THAT IS FROST!

    22790648_10104685756688045_489583999_o.jpg

The water temp of the chiller will sit in the high teens! The screen shot shows the water temp at 16ºF and the IAT's at 34ºF. I have a K-Type thermocouple in the water loop with a converter that outputs a 0-5v so I can log it with HPT. It was calibrated with my Fluke meter. After a 10min drive, the elbows into the lid start to frost over. IT IS COLD! This is all will a rotofab intake without the hood insulator. I'm sure if I did a better job at sealing the rotofab to the hood, the IAT's would come down a few more degrees. This is with a 9.55/2.55 pullied LSA (375%).

    A few things to note...

    • This is all done with a small LIGHTWEIGHT (<10lbs) 11" 20 plate evaporator. The SMALLEST in the industry. There is ABSOLUTELY no need for anything bigger if properly designed!
    • Our evaporator fits seamlessly under the driver's headlight. NO drilling! NO cutting! 100% reversible installation.
    • High Flow evaporator. Short and wide means less pressure drop. FLOW keeps the IAT's in check under boost.
    • Race valve is integrated into liquid tap.
    • NO LEAKS! A total of 6 additional o-rings. Evaporators are tested to 200psi with N2 to insure no crossleaks.
    • Manufactured in the USA
    • All at a great price!

We just recently had our first conversion from a competitors product. The owner was constantly chasing leaks and poor performance. He would be lucky to see IAT's that met ambient temperature and cabin performance was not satisfactory.

"Well I can say this so far. It was nice to come home and not have a bunch of coolant drips and puddles to look at. Bone dry . I cannot tell you how many hours (days literally) that I spent trying to get that other system to stop leaking."

~45ºF IAT's on a TVS 1900 Maggie. Even a little frost forming on water port! These are the toughest superchargers to keep cool.

I took the G8 to Beechbend Raceway this past Monday.

    DA +1026
    Ambient 65ºF and 40% RH

Best pass of 10.19@137. Race weight was 4275#. The only thing removed from the car was the tire infiltrator. It is full interior, steel hood, full exhaust, and stock battery. The car is pretty basic LSA setup with a 57k stock bottom end L76. BTR PD cam, stock heads... Boost ~15psi (9.55/2.55 pulleys). I did about an 8-9 minute cruising the pits to chill the IAT's from 110ºF down to 45ºF (water temps in the low 30's).

    22851874_10104703368703425_549644586852126238_n.jpg

I have only made 4 passes on the car with this setup. There are a few bugs to work out with the transmission and fuel system... I am fairly confident it will go 9's with some better air and a little diet.
Another interesting fact is the amount of heat the blower is putting out is incredible. Water temp rise across the brick is consistently 45ºF. With the flow, that puts the heat generated to ~110,000 btu/hr (43 horsepower of HEAT!)

Nice pass. Man the LSA cars 60' good. I don't think there are many guys left here who care about going fast though. This site has no traffic and the software is glitchy. Hell, I can't even update my signature line or attach pix without resizing.
